yes I borrowed a overhead projector and traced design on clear plastic the on wall. Your library may have one. I borrowed from my old boss then he let me keep it. They r out dated.
You might find one at a rental place. Tha is where I got mine. It cost pennies to rent.
If you have a smartphone, you can build an inexpensive projector:

Just project the image you want onto the wall and trace it lightly with a lead pencil. Use whatever paint color you wish to fill in the lines.
Do you know anyone that has an overhead projector that you could borrow to project onto the wall with?
If it is simple you could create a silhouette from cardboard or card stock and use a lamp or flash light to project the shadow on the wall. It may take some shifting around to get it the right size but it would be an easy way. Another thing you can do, I did this. Print out a picture of what you want to draw. Pencil a grid over the picture. Recreate the grid (pencil works) on the wall at the size you want the project to be. Then free hand each section to match the original drawing. I lost track of which block was which so I'd recommend lightly numbering them.
Thanks all for your answer. I was also thinking about an overhead but to find one is not that easy. But I think i try the smartphone idea or make a silhouette from cardbord, it seems the easiest way. The one with the grid i was thinking about many times when i like to paint something bigger but then i tried i freehand^^. Sometimes it works ;)
Thanks again all of you
I rented the overhead projector from our school district for the day and it worked beautifully
