    Porcelain/ceramic tiles. Use larger ones so there’s less grout to clean. Don’t make yourself crazy with white grout.

    Linoleum. There are gorgeous patterns out there. Check out a tile store as they likely have a greater variety than HD, and likely have a clearance section for smaller pieces.

    sheet steal.ya it’s a bit different but it reflects the light in a poorly lit area. Found stainless steal look edging for it, the caulking was fun...had to get it arround the 50+ holes in that section of the wall.

    I painted mine and stenciled design then placed Plexiglass over it. Very easy to clean using Windex.

    You need to get a heat approved material. Some stoves are ok with heavy tiles , but some are not. Ask at your local hardware/ home improvement store what they recommend for YOUR particular stove. Take your model no. etc so they can look it up if they need to research it. There are so many stoves now, it is good if you find a home improvement store that sells your particular brand. Also, be sure there is sufficient protection UNDER the stove too.

    Metal ceiling tiles, simple tiles, shiplap.
