Hang a decorative mirror with hooks. Everyone looks in a mirror before opening the door. Get a mirror with hooks to hang keys, dog leashes, badges, etc. Add a small table with a small shelf for decorative baskets to hold gloves or umbrellas, etc. I painted a small dresser to add color to my entryway. 3 drawers can hide a multitude of stuff. Extension cords, tissues, a cute lamp on top, all kinds of stuff. I’m rearranging things now so please excuse the mess. This dresser was an ugly brown. Best of luck.

Entry Closet is Now Functional & Organized Storage Closet
Entry - I always like a good console table for throwing my keys and purse down on, and I also like one behind the sofa. Mine are open style with 3 wicker storage baskets on the lower shelf and there are drawers at the top. Wayfair has a great selection.
Closets - I frequently redo many clients closet makeovers to increase their functionality... I like to add a second rod for bi-level storage, I frequently move the shelf up to accomodate the extra rod, and I use plastic crates to store out of season clothing. I also like the soft organizers that fasten on a rod for shoes, and folding sweaters, or purses. Sometimes I also add an extra shelf on top of that second rod for shoes.
Living Area - Adding tall bookcases improves storage and adds area for displaying collections (you can also buy doors for the lower half of some bookcases for hidden storage), I also like the cube end tables and storage coffee tables to give extra storage.
A floating shelf or bench with underneath storage.
Hope this Helps! Jeremy - https://do-daddy.com
My favorite type of storage I've been adding to our place and utilizing lately is by looking up. I added high shelves in all of our closets and the extra storage there has been just awesome!
