How do I update old ceiling tile?

What can I do, short of pulling the 12" X 12", that would be a nice, quick fix for ugly 1960s celiling tile?

Use KILZ spray it is white and will cover everything and make the ceiling told look brand new! My cats caught mice in my basement ceiling not very pleasant, but KILZ did the trick!☺

Hi there, You could use a tape and run a grid diagonally (like a lattice) over the ceiling or fix Picture frame like panels on to give you a completely different look!
