How do I stop a rug from "creeping" on the carpet.

we have a large area rug over the carpet in our great room. There is no furniture on it, it is to protect our new carpet from pets. It moves or creeps across the carpet! It doesn't stay in one place. Help!!!

You can purchase carpet tape in a roll. This will hold the rug in place. Happy decorating! -

try putting some shelf liner underneath it.. the kind that has tiny holes and feels like rubber -
