Hi William I think it would be fine as long as your vinyl tile is in good shape. If its vinyl tile though is it just glued down? You may want to consider removing it to give your new floor the best most lasting chance.
I think it would be fine. The groove is so minimal and new flooring has thickness to it that it wouldn't be affected. Just try your best to not get any seams of the new flooring over the grooves.
As long as the old tile are in good condition then it should be fine
I think it would depend on how thick your flex flooring is. If it's not thick enough it will sink into the grooves with people walking on it.
The new flooring may show the grooves over time. My MIL had new installed over some vinyl and if you stand at an angle, you can see the grooves. However, there has been no wear issues.
Hi! You could probably use a leveling product like Henry 's. The stuff dries hard as a rock. It would fill in the grout lines. If you do use it, scrape it smooth because the stuff is terrible to sand once dry. Then you could easily install the floor. My only other concern would be the tiles being too slick to adhere the new tiles to. If that isn't an issue, it should work. Good luck!
