What can be used to cover the ceiling of my back porch?

I always have to paint the wood that is there now. Is there something that is light weight and easy to install over the wood that is there with low maintenance?

Try using metal ceiling tiles. You can find them at HD or Lowe’s.
Try final siding
I used vinyl beadboard. You can't tell it's not wood unless you get on a stepstool or ladder and touch it. Looks like the wood I covered over except it doesn't need to be painted.
Try tin. It would look amazing and as it ages, be even more interestin.
If you ceiling needs to be repainted every year it must have moisture problems. Covering it with anything else would just compound the problem. What is above the ceiling? This is a covered porch we have and I believe we only repainted this ceiling once in about 40 years.
