I love fresh herbs so much!! My hubby and I decided to plant a big metal bucket of fresh herbs today. We found the metal bucket at IFA Country store for some of our herbs and the others from Lowes.

Sage the St. Bernard was helping in the garden today…Sage is one of my daughters dogs living with us until they finish building their Townhouse. I thought it was appropriate to include her in the pictures today because of her name 🙂

Not only did we get our herbs planted but we also planted some tomatoes..one of which is a Chocolate cherry tomato!! I’ve never tried one before so we shall see how it tastes.

Here is our bucket of herbs on a stand in the corner of our garden. I love it because it is up high so I don’t have to bend over!

We simply poked a bunch of holes in the bottom so it can drain, layered it with small rocks, added soil and planted the herbs.

We planted Rosemary, two different kinds of basil, Pineapple sage, cilantro, Tarragon, Dill and Marjoram.

I love to make herb infused lemonades, recipes are here. They are sooo good!

I also planted some regular Sage in another smaller container.

I love Sage on chicken and turkey. You will love this recipe using herbs on two chickens!

There is nothing better than fresh herbs for cooking, grilling and even as a centerpiece on your table. The aromas from them are so yummy!
