I love Geraniums... and unfortunately they do well here (AZ) only as long as the temps are not too hot (above 90) or too cold (they will frost or freeze)..A 2-3 gallon pot is not very large.. you might want to move it to at least a 5 gallon pot or planter. it might do well on an enclosed porch but probably not in the house with the heater running (too dry and not enough light)Helpful Reply -

I live in Michigan (cold winters) and each fall about time of freezing I put my geraniums inside. I put them where there is minimum heat and light. I water them just a little, once a month, and then in the spring I put those straggly plants back outside (after freezes are past). I give them a little fertilizer and in a month they are back to their luscious foliage --and they bloom like crazy all summer (watering them when necessary while they're outside.Helpful Reply -

Re-pot them in the next size container with fresh soil, spray the leaves with horticultural oil, bring inside and place in a bright location,do not prune or feed them at this time. Let them adjust.Water when dry to the touchHelpful Reply -

Where do you live? I have geraniums but mine are in ground and semi protected. Gets into the teens at night on rare occasions, but summers are 100+ and mine grow great. I would suggest a bigger pot and keep in a protected area. See if these links help.https://www.thespruce.com/overwintering-geraniums-1403592https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/geranium/how-to-save-geraniums-over-the-winter.htmhttps://m.wikihow.com/Care-for-Geraniums-in-WinterHelpful Reply -

if You live somewhere besides Florida or southern CAlifornia, you need to bring it in for the winter. They are low maintenance plants. I keep mine all winter and put it back out in spring. I have had it 5 yrs plus now.Helpful Reply -
