Best way we get them to sprout,... put then in soil, lightly water, cover with saran wrap and sit it on top of the frig or a freezer. The heat helps them germinate. Remove the saran wrap cover once they have germinated. Once they grow a little we transplant into pots and let them grown bigger.
Wait till after the last frost to plant in garden.
