Should I prune new growth from bottom of a tree?

William on May 19, 2016Yes. These are suckers that trees sprout. As Janet says, they rob the tree of nourishment. Also keep in mind, any small branches that grow straight up from any of the main branches are also suckers and should be cut off.Helpful Reply
