Where are you trying to grow? Indoors or out? My suggestion is to grow in pots. If in ground it can take over very quickly and can become invasive. See if these help you!

It should grow like a weed! Where are you located? What variety did you plant? Are you planting on a slope, in the ground, or in a pot? Is your dirt clay (mint requires looser soil with good drainage)? Is the pot too small (mint needs room to sprawl). Is it receiving enough water?

Mint is probably the easiest plant to grow that exists. I have mine in a pot, in the past I have had it come back some years and I just left it alone, only watered it and fertilized it in the spring and that's it. I didn't even change the soil for about four years and it still was really healthy. What kind of soil did you plant it in? A lot of herbs actually like poor soil. I only chance out a quarter to a half of my herb pots soil each spring and they love it, the plants get huge in the ten to twelve inch pots I plant them in. I even planted mint in the pot I had chives in the last three years and they love it!
