There are lots of reasons, but the usual one is because it was cut too far back when previously pruned. If that is the case, keep it in full sun and watered and it should come back.Helpful Reply -

Id say ask a local nursery to asses a sample of your soil to make sure its getting enough nutrients- good luck!Helpful Reply -
