Can tomato plants grow in a basement apt with little sun?

Not very well since they are sun love plants. Do you have a sunny window? Or anyplace outside you could grow in a pot? -

Try cherry or plum tomatoes. They are tiny and don't need as much sunshine. But they definitely need a few hours a day. Don't overwater your plants. Fertilize, but don't overdo this either -

No, you can't grow tomatoes in a dark apartment. You will need grow lights for the "daylight hours" tomatoes need. A great site that explains how to be successful at growing is "tomatodirt.com". -

They will not grow good, but you can buy daylight bulbs for them to grow with.
