Sad, Sad Desk Gets a Much Needed Makeover

I was wanting an art desk for my daughter's room. A friend gave me this desk...and as you can see...she was in desperate need of a makeover.
First, I removed the paper, left over adhesive.....
I collected my supplies....and had my daughter pick out scrapbook paper that would adorn the drawers....
I Mod Podged the drawers, applied the papers and then did one more coat of Mod Podge over top. Set them aside and allowed them to dry.
Once dry, I attached the knobs. I decided not to paint the knobs, as I will be replacing them when I find some that strike our fancy. :)
Next, I painted the desk and distressed it once it was completely dry.
Here she is complete and in her new home. :)

This is so sweet I am getting cavities! This really is sweet and adorable. What if there is a bubble under the paper?
