Flat to Upright Stove

Old stove went out and as the wife likes the controls on top we went with this upright rather then another flat top stove.
but it's ugly in the back
so, in comes the pallet wood
Now? Small shelf covering the top
and shelving for the rear

wait... l just moved in and the back is sticking out on the stove like this. Did you hand make this? buy it? i cant find anywhere that is selling something like this to cover it.
