Hi Shirlene. Install cabinets all the way up to the ceiling, if possible. Put a tension rod under the sink and hang your cleaning products by the handles. Also store sheet pans and bigger pans under the bed. If possible, hang utensils and coffee cups under the top cabinet. Use hooks to do this. And, lastly, put items used every day (like salt and pepper and napkins, etc) in a basket for easy access. Good luck Shirlene. Stay healthy and well.
Maximize your storage and go vertical with it. Hometalk will have oodles if great ideas - search small kitchens using the search bar at the top left for great inspiration.

Do you have a picture of the kitchen so we can better advise.
I agree, we need a picture so we can see what you are starting with, and then offer good ideas for your kitchen. This would give focus on what can be done that you might like.
Hi ! In my small kitchen I made a wall pantry to hold my dry goods because I had very little cabinet space . I used an area a few feet wide and used plumbing pipe to support the shelves . I posted a tutorial on this site called wall pantry storage solution .
Shirlene: maybe this will give you some ideas!

Hello Shirlene,
Keep colour light. Build full height. Use every space saving device you can. Fold out tables/counters. Door storage, even plinth draw. Keep colour for functional accessories. Best wishes If you have the height - Use a Pan ceiling rack too.
Making use of space in between the wall studs is one way of creating floor-space-saving storage. Here are some examples:

I have a small kitchen since we downsized and although I got rid of 2/3 of my stuff, I still am amazed at how much there is to put away! I have two shelves mounted on the wall, one above the garbage can by the back door, holding garbage bags, etc. The other is by my stove. Both are wire and I use S hooks to hang things from them. I am fortunate to have a small closet/pantry where I put a small cart under the bottom shelf and an additional shelf between the two that were there to maximize space. That gives me a total of six shelves instead of two for storage. I hung Command hooks on the walls to hold additional items. Good luck and stay safe!
We got a corner lazy susan in our kitchen remodel 2 years ago and it stores SOOOO much! We hardly even need a pantry now. I recommend getting one!
Paint it a bright white to make it appear larger
If you have bottom corner cabinets that are hard to reach into, the space inside is most likely not being used efficiently. To maximize this area, I would suggest purchasing a blind corner cabinet articulating shelving unit. These come in different styles. Here are some examples:
