What is the best brand of electric fireplace for my 3 season room?

I would suggest that if you have natural gas or propane to purchase a non-vented fireplace. These units use special catalytic converters that allow you to heat the room without having a chimney. They look much more like a real fireplace as they do create a real flame. There are other posts on HT that cover these types of fireplaces. I am not a fan of electrical types as they cost much more to operate then the gas types.

Zone heating?? Check out the Rural King, Big R, Farm & Fleet stores for portable heaters; some are electric, some are kerosene. Hope this helps!

One of the things I like about it, it has safe plug technology to prevent overheating.

According to my contractor and stone mason Dimplex makes the best, but they are the highest price too.
