DIY Industrial Paper Towel Holder

by Sara
We recently updated our kitchen so I was on the hunt for a new paper towel holder. Our decor style is "Farmhouse/Industrial Chic" so this DIY project was perfect. It's always easy to take off and put on new rolls of paper towel.
First I purchased an 8" pine plaque from Joann Fabrics.
I purchased industrial piping from Home Depot.

I picked up:

2 - 1/26 Nipples

1 - 1/2 Cap

1 - 1/2 Floor Flange

1 - 1/2 Coupling
I painted the plaque with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Old white. The same that I painted our kitchen cabinets. I screwed the floor flange into the center of the plaque.
I put the rest of the piping together and screwed it into the floor flange.
And, there's our new paper towel holder! For more DIY projects and decor tips, check out my blog! Link below. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Hannah. This is really super easy, it holds "double rolls" and no taking a top off to replace!
  • Very cool! I'm decorating an office building with industrial decor and this would be perfect!
