First recognize the style of your house/kitchen. Some suggestions won't work for a more finished type kitchen such as those on "Fixer Upper" but then you probably would not be asking this question if you had that type of kitchen. My kitchen is very narrow and has no built in drawers. I use every square inch of space. First picture is shelf about doorway, to right are baskets that hang in another doorway. Next picture is a small "garage" that holds small pots, and from which the stove hood hangs. Next is a very narrow shelf unit that was made to fit a small section of wall between the window and the cupboards. Finally there is over the window use, two shelves, which holds wine glasses and display china. Find out where you have "empty" spaces and what can go in them to hold necessary items.Helpful Reply -

Downsizing several times Ive learned to maximize all available storage options. In the kitchen maximize cupboard storage utilizing various storage bins baskets and elevating wire racks below countertops. You might consider using the backside of the cabinet door too. Purge the things you dont need or store other things that you don’t use often in another area of the house....like under the bed or basement closet. Put you beds on risers and use low profile totes and spacebags under the beds for seasonal decorations, table linens or cleaning products.https://www.hometalk.com/diy/organize/pantry/s-these-are-the-pantry-organizing-hacks-that-you-ve-been-waiting-for-20831610?page_num=5Helpful Reply -

Hubby built plexiglass holders for our large kitchen knives and they are mounted inside of the cabinet doors. You can use the insides of the doors for things like lids and spices too.Helpful Reply -
