How do I get rid of backyard clutter faster?

During the hurricane last year a tree fell on my shed, our screen room and my husband's workshop. We have been cleaning up the mess ever since. We have gotten rid of a lot but we still have so much. A dumpster is $400+ a week so we have been throwing away 1 garbage can a week full and going to the dump with full trailers full once a month. This is between working fulltime in the Florida heat outside all day. We need suggestions. (btw Homeowner insurance companies suck!)

Ah, come on... you need a chainsaw and some helpers and someone who wants the wood if you are not going to use it and if you or some of your helpers have a truck, take the debri to the dump!
A number of trash companies will pick up "brush and bulky waste" if it is tied in bundles that are not over four feet long. Also, some towns even have a specific day once a month where a special truck comes around and picks up anything you can haul to the street. You might want to check and see if your municipality has this option. With all that bio material sitting around, your yard is attracting all kinds of critters that they probably consider unsanitary or even possibly dangerous. (um, opossums, rats and snakes come to mind.) If you don't have one, a chainsaw would really help a lot.
Have you tried contacting tree removal companies in your area and getting an estimate for storm damage removal? Seems like a silly question but there are several in your area listed that do storm damage removal. In the center of the country (Tornado Alley) we all help each other in our community when high winds or tornadoes strike, and there are state, federal and community resources we can use to help. Insurance companies do suck lol.

All we saw in your pictures were the huge tree parts, and we were just trying to help with that. Sorry for the confusion. What types of things do you still need to get rid of so we might help?
Jan had a good suggestion. Every where I've ever lived, they've always had a special day to pick up large loads. Most of the time it's once a month. There usually isn't any cost involved. Do you have any neighbors that would let you leave some of your trash out with theirs? That would sure make it go quicker. Good luck.
If you're on Facebook, search for "trash hauling". It should bring up anyone in your area that either owns a small business or, will come and take away items (esp things they can recyle, metals, etc). Or, post in a local facebook group that you're looking for someone reasonably priced to haul away items.
Kristen, in my area there's a garbage hauler that has a product called the Bagster. It's not as big as a dumpster and not as expensive. Basically, you purchase one of these huge bags at a big box store like Home Depot. Place it on your drive, fill it and then schedule to have it hauled away. Google Bagster and see if it's available in your area. Good luck!
When we were in key west in January we saw the mess left behind by the hurricane . We noticed piles of trash all along the roads so we assumed the local municipals were allowing people to add to the piles for pick up. If that's not available in your area can you call and ask for suggestions?
