Depends how much you want to raise the bed. My mother had plastic bed risers under her bed to raise it up but after a couple years if someone sat right on the bed over the bed riser it would break through the plastic. An easy solution is to purchase bed risers and find boxes that fit under your bed to create more storage. We also love this $2 fix:
