I love having a bench, chair, or swing on a porch! It is so inviting.
Start with your door by adding a wreath or some other type of decor item. Then branch out with complimenting items. If you have steps, put some pretty pots on the stairs.
Here is a post I wrote on how to decorate a small front porch. https://lifeonsummerhill.com/small-front-porch-decorating-ideas/
Start with a wreath! From there create a welcoming entrance by layering your door mat. For example, place a gingham door mat and then a smaller wooden doormat on top of the gingham one. Next up? Fall flowers! Place them in a container that looks like concrete or a bright white. That way, the fall colors of the flowers will pop. Add even more texture and dimension to the porch by placing a few miniature pumpkins (orange, white, or both), mixed in around the flower pots.
