Kit.....Good question. I don't know unless you paint the pegs each and don't use yarn. Also so many people are just painting pallets to look like a flag...but that wasn't your question. Hope you get some better ideas that mine!

As in all dyed fibers, if there is no UV resistance in the dye..... it will fade. Sun also rots fibers for the same reason, UV rays cause fading and dry rot. You would have to look for some specialty fibers that say they are UV-resistant. Nylon cord is one of the things that can hold up to the elements, though sometimes it will fade but not as fast.
