I used a circular saw to cut an angle on a piece of 4 inch PVC
Cut a circle out of scrap trex and made additional holes for the birdhouse door and perch.
The trex and perch were siliconed in place
A similar round disc was used to create the back wall of the birdhouse. Both could be made from PVC boards, Trex or wood.
Finished product is weather resistant and maintenance free

Love this project. Great idea. I've never seen anyone use a circular saw that wasn't fixed to a work bench before. I was holding my breath hoping you wouldn't cut yourself badly.

If you left off the perch you co u great for bluebird
