Garden Flower Bed Border.... Before and After

We get so much inspiration from Hometalk garden gurus. Seeing the beautiful gardens posted, we wanted to put a nice finishing touch to our patio. We decided to frame it with a flower bed border. So off to Home Depot. Selecting bricks that coordinated with the patio brick pavers worked out well.

After. We put in stepping pavers on all sides for easy access into the garden. And our dogs actually use the stepping pavers in stead of jumping over the flower bed. I'm so proud of them. :-)

Another before

After. The bed is 18" wide. Just wide enough to have a nice assortment of flowers. We choose colorful perennials.

Now you can see the flowers surrounding the patio from inside the house. It just makes a lovely finished touch.

Are your brick pavers on a concrete slab? You did a beautiful job with your flower bed. I can't believe what a difference it made.

Those are annuals, not perennials

You have a gorgeous yard. And plenty of money, cause all is expensive (but beautiful).
