Do plastic forks and spoons placed in planters really ward off bugs ?

No that is totally meant for cats in the garden not planters
Never heard of this. Keeps the varmints out of the garden if the fork tines are facing out.
I googled it and got nothing. I think it might be that it's for the garden?? Hope that helps.
