About a week ago their was instructions on how to set up and electric fence with a solar power charger that's what I'm looking for??? -

An electric fence might work. But I have seen a buck clear a six foot fence out of the woods and nearly across the road in front of us. If a deer got in your garden, it might not have enough running room to get out. 😇💞 -

Normally I recommend spreading out some shredded Irish Spring bar soap. Deer and other animals hate the smell and taste. If interested, you shred the bars of soap on a box grater or even in a food processor. You have a very large garden, so it would take quite a bit of soap. But it does work. -

Jewell has a good point about the incredible ability of deer to jump fences from a standing position, and then having potential to do much damage when they feel that they might be trapped inside somewhere.
