They go in and knock things over, go to the bathroom, and chew up my houses.Any ideas?
Try sprinkling down dried blood meal. They do not like the smell. It keeps them away. Good luck!
You can Also make a spray that contains garlic and cayenne pepper. Good luck!!!
These guys are so cute but can be somewhat destructive. Mostly they dig holes and tunnels everywhere, even under fences. My husband dug about a foot deep and placed boards all around our garden in addition to a wood fence. So far that has worked.
Plant Marigolds in the same area, and between the plants of food. Animals HATE the smell of this flower, and it is a HUGE ANSWER to this problem. Have a lovely day!!
I used to have dreams that my entire foundation would be undermined by chippy warrens and one day the house would slowly sink --I threw mothballs down the chipmunk holes -- They threw them back out. I kept at it for a whole season-- they eventually moved on. They also had a penchant for digging up new plantings. I put rocks around new plants until they were established and dusted everything with cayenne pepper. That worked! Buy a big jug of cayenne and remember that while there are a lot more of them --you are bigger and smarter Good luck
