After the bioom is gone
Use Borax, spread it all over your carpet and floor of your RV, this will get rid of them without using poison.
First, do you have pets? If so, you need to treat them. They also need to be brushed outside. Then you need to vacuum constantly, clean out the vacuum bag or holder and throw the accumulation out immediately. It's a long process.
If your carpeting is a harbor for them, generously sprinkle salt all over and leave overnight. In the am, vacuum them up. Another good idea is this: Put down a shallow pie tin or baking dish with water. Put it under a light if possible so it has to be a bulb that produces heat like a 40 or 60 watt. They love warm moist places. Then drop 3 drops of dish washing liquid into it so it breaks up the surface adhesion. They will jump in and drown. Personally, I'd never use any insecticide, salt or borax...especially if you have pets/ kids around. I've used diatomaceous earth, a fine powder, find it in the insecticide area. Get the food grade, NOT the pool grade. You can dust it all around the entire house, & RV. Along baseboards, under cushions, on mattresses, carpets, it will take care of fleas & any other insects. Not a poison. It's a natural substance, it basicly slices open their exoskeletons & they dehydrate & die. If the powder gets wet, you'll need to re-apply. Just don't breathe it in or get it in your eyes. i apply using just a spoon to spread it around. You don't want clouds of it floating around! LOL. And, they can never become immune to it.
buy flea powder for your couch, bed all bedding and get flea spray, spray it around the house repeat if you have to
we had fled years ago we put cutting of cedar around kills
Your local veterinarian can show you a spray that you can use around the perimeters of your home and around your rooms. This can kill off the infestation, then I would use one if the other suggestions to maintain protection.
