the only sure way is using traps..the rest are a waste of time and effort. And the traps have to be used correctly. Call your local conservation dept for help..Helpful Reply -

we took & sprayed the yard with kill weed. Then we had stakes put in the ground with food that is poisonous so when they carry it back 2 the nest they all dead on there backs. The Groub worms r plentiful here ( dyersburg Tennessee) so someone said kill the worms b cause that's what those rats r eating.Helpful Reply -

If you or if you know anyone who has snakes, keep the skin when they shed and place a good long piece in each in hole. They won't be back. Tried and true!Helpful Reply -
