wash the cat with blue dawn dish soap

  • Dawn dish soap will work and so will vinegar. Only good if you de flea the entire house. You need to wash everything and vacuum every day to get random fleas and their eggs, steam cleaning carpets is best - or call Flea Busters.

You can use Borax to dehydrate the larvae and eggs... shake on carpet, broom in,,, wait about 4 days and vacuum up... wash all bedding where the cat sleeps... to be effective... you need to do the house, the yard, and the cat...and other pets... in the yard we found that the Scott's turf builder with the pest control helped a lot.

use food grade diatomaceous earth. Make sure that you apply it outside, or in an area that your cat won’t be inhaling the dust. It is non toxic, does a great job on all insects! After gently applying it to your cat, you can sprinkle it on carpets and furniture, vacuum after about 24 hours.
