I have the same problem...I found out that they like to eat the worms and that makes sense to me because every time we would go fishing, I would dump the left over worms in my yard. Then, of course we got the problem of moles. I just put up with them, although they do make a mess of trails, but the neighborhood cat will occasionally leave me one that he has caught on my doorstep.... -

A few months ago I read a post where a garden-size windmill will help get rid of moles. Moles travel on their bellies. They cannot tolerate the vibrations from the windmill. -
