They have chewed through the eaves that have been replaced 3 times. Traps do not work.

find out how they are getting on the roof and eliminate it. We had to cut down a tree, but they are no longer chewing on my roof!

A natural squirrel repellent is a natural (as opposed to chemical) substance that deters squirrels from approaching an area. Squirrels do not like hot and spicy foods, so sprinkling cayenne pepper in the garden can be an effective deterrent.

What material are you using to replace the damaged area? I have used cement board siding anywhere a squirrel has ever entered a house and never had recurring issues. Most home centers carry cement board siding that looks like natural wood.

Replaced with wood but will try the cement board before cutting down my beautiful oak tree.

They do not like the smell of moth balls. Generously sprinkle them near where they are getting in or all around the attic. Use balls or chips.
