  • Heat is what draws them out. Call in the pros otherwise you will never be rid of them if you don't. And unknowingly spread them around to every place you visit.

Hi Nancy, A professional is the best way but I know a lot of people cannot afford that so get you a gallon of ecoraider for bedbugs and the one gallon sprayer. It is safe for pets and humans but not plants. Do exactly what it says to do and wash and dry all clothes and bed linens. I like to give people an alternative that works. Good luck. Here is a link to check it out.

When we had them we used Hot Shot for bed bugs. Starting at the top of the room we sprayed the whole room. Buy some of the bedding bags for mattress and springs. You must wash and dry any clothing, pillows, other washable items in hot water. Put drawers in the hot sun for the day and spray them before returning them. Also spray the cabinets they came from. We had the pros in and they failed. Then keep your eyes open for returns. We first noticed them around the upper walls near ceiling.

The one thing I believe worked best was putting clear wide, packing tape around the outlet covers. Do the same in adjoining rooms and do not remove the tape.
