Do you mean how can you change your patio around when your dog is seeing impaired?
I have an elderly dog also and sometimes they're sort of hard to figure out. Try changing your dog's diet and see if that helps.
A dog will always find the most comfortable place to sit, unless you fence him or her out..........
UHHH WHAT U SAY
My most recent experience with an elderly dog had him peeing inappropriately. If this is new for him, please please please!!! understand that he is now elderly! He knows it's not right but at this point in his life, he cannot help it. Please visit the vet and make sure he isn't in pain. Dogs can "handle" far more pain that humans and most will not cry out unless in extreme agony. But, he may be in terrible pain and just not crying.
Give your loved family member as much love, understanding and acceptance as possible. He has given his entire life to you. He is loyal, loving, nonjudgmental, and totally trust you to care for him forever. Give him the most comfortable end of life experience ever and be sure to keep him from being in pain. God bless the Animals!
