You would basically have to make it waterproof. New cushions that can stand up to pool water and weather.

Use plastic chairs. My dad had a plastic lounge that is really nice. Very thick plastic and the head is adjustable. He got it at Bi-Mart.

I'm wondering if there is a reason you would not want to use it as it is. My sister has several patio chairs and pool chairs at her pool. Guess which ones are grabbed first...patio style.
