Is there a way to cover/remove a knot in a wooden dresser?

If you're going to paint it, you can seal the knot with shellac before painting.

You can cut out the knot and replace it with what is called a "Dutchman" in woodworking speak. It will be noticeable if you are staining, but completely hidden if painting.

Is there a way you can share a photo with us of what the knot looks like?

Hi Ryan, are you okay with decals? you could try to put some decaling on it that will cover the knot

If your not going to paint. You can drill and chip the knot about 1/4". Then fill the cavity with stainable wood putty. You may have to play around with wood stains, and stain markers

Hello can you post a photo? I might suggest paint to disguise its appearance depending on its existing finish.

Screwing on a couple of additional knobs or switching the handles to wider ones, can sometimes be a quick and easy fix to covering a flaw in a dresser front. Please post a picture so that we can see exactly where the knot is.

Are you willing to paint it? That would do the trick. Or you could stain the whole thing a darker color so that the knot doesn't stick out as much.
