Easier than paint is to apply a stainless steel appliance film. Here's a link to one:

ou can successfully paont your refrigerator by using the same process of any other paont project. Decide whether you are going to spray, roll or brush on the paint. Clean, prep by masking off areas you don't want to paint, then carefully start to paint. There are stainless teell paints available from many excellent paint companies. Good luck with your project. Also as another option, there are "contact-like" rolls of stainless available to cover your refrigerator.

Another option is some places sell magnets that it over appliances that will 'match' them to your other appliances.

Appliance epoxy is great for touching up in white. Water-based, latex-based, and oil-based paints can be used as long as they mention that they're for metal. Several spray paint options work well on metal – rust-oleum being one of the best-known brands that I can think of.
However there are kits out there too. https://www.homedit.com/refrigerator-paint/
I've used Fusion Mineral Paint on many projects and they have a line of metallics. I also believe you can purchase a skin to put over your existing refrigerator to make it look like stainless steel.
Have you considered wrapping your refrigerator?

I would opt for the skin first. Otherwise they do sell appliance paint, since you have to consider the temps of the fridge...cold and hot on certain areas. I would go to a designated paint store and ask a pro for the proper product to use.
Here is how to do it with stainless steel paint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcWjnY6eULw
Apply primer
This step is not always necessary as you have the option of applying a two-in-one paint that contains primer instead. However, the primer is always necessary whether it’s a separate step or not because it helps the paint to adhere to the fridge and to look smooth and even.
If you opt for the separate primer strategy, apply a coat, let it dry, then go over the surface with steel wool to get rid of any bumps and speckles. Wash the fridge and let it dry, then apply another coat of primer.
Apply paint
This is the part where you have two main options: spray paint or a roller. In each case the technique is different. If you’re using a roller, open the can of paint, stir it and then pour some into a tray. Then take a foam roller, dip it in paint and apply a coat all over the fridge, let it dry, repeat, let it dry and apply a third and final coat. You’ll also need a thin brush which you’ll use to paint the corners, edges and other hard to reach areas which you can’t cover with the roller.
Let the paint dry for at least 24 hours. Also, don’t forget to also paint the inside frame of the fridge.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend painting it, either. A removeable film would be a better option, and potentially less of a headache! Home Depot has a roll of the film online: https://www.homedepot.com/p/35-in-x-66-in-Stainless-Steel-Adhesive-Appliance-Cover-Roll-BWD0331/313809973 Hope this helps!
