Pinterest is a great sight on the internet. I love to look at magazines such as Country Sampler.
Looking at magazines, Pinterest, sometimes just create
ideas come from lots of places....online sites such as HomeTalk, Pinterest, etc.....magazines, TV shows, etc. Look around as you go through your day....look at houses around you, restaurants, store displays, etc. You never know what might spark a new idea!
Some people are just super creative and imaginative and that is so cool. Some, like myself, usually see something someone else has done and then either make it or put my own spin on it. Magazine, traveling, pictures, etc are all a good source for ideas.
Inspiration creates incentive ... or vice versa --- if you 'want' something, - say a Wreath -- think outside the box -- de-construct it in your mind --- 1. it needs to be able to be hung ( or not ) you can use them flat on a table! 2. then an event or holiday; 3. then the colors; do you like frilly/frufru, or sedate sophisticated; do you like 'traditional' ( round ) or angular - square, triangle --The Triangle is a great shape -- and if you can't find a premade 'frame' -- wire coat hangers can be used to make any shape you want --- but you have to start somewhere --- look at magazines, YOU TUBE had thousands of DIY projects, Necessity is the Mother of Invention ---
