I’m pretty creative but mostly from experience from the challenges of owning an older home, which needed a lot of updating. It’s also small and I made a lot of changes to find what works. I’ve also helped others.

I'm an artist and had a business of doing murals and faux work. Had to come up with less expensive ways of doing different finishes. Because of this I also worked with custom home builders. They helped me to understand construction and I would also experiment a lot.

Experience and also maybe a "good" eye. We have always done creative things in our home, painting, papering etc. We also can see possibilities, in things, what could be done with them. My husband is also a firm believer in learning from You Tube. Also it is WANTING to do things, to arrange things, to make things. I am not an artist like my husband but just a while ago he told me I have an "artistic" eye in that I can see how to use things artistically.
