How to fix ripples caused by wet object?
I inadvertently left a bag with plants on my wood table, not knowing the plants were wet. It left several rippled bumps in the wood. How can I fix that?

Hello Kathy,
Maybe try a brown paper bag over the lifted Veneer and a warm iron to draw out the wet and re- seal the veneer down. Good luck
It sounds like the veneer lifted. Sometimes it will dry on its own. Here's a link with more ideas:

How to Remove a Bubble in Wood Veneer
I've done this before and it is so frustrating! Luckily there is a quick way to fix it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZK1jjHsurs&t=42s
You might be able to reactivate the adhesive. Place brown paper bag paper or brown wrapping paper over the damage. Set an iron to medium heat and iron over the paper. Check every so often if the veneer is gluing back down.
I've used the iron trick and it worked for me.

You would have to sand it and re stain it
It should level out if not put something damp on the dibble then place a light towel then something heavy like books for a couple days
Hi! It sounds like veneer lifting. Weighing it down should help. I have seen tutorials with foil and an iron, also, but never done that. If the finish is damaged, you may be able to hide it by touching it up. You may need to refinish it. Good luck!
I would try to weigh it down
