The head part of chair is torn, how should I fix this

Can you post a picture so we can see the damage, so we can better advise.
Can you sew it? You don't mention what material your chair is made from or where the tear is. It is easier to sew a tear in the seam and it can almost be unnoticeable. If it's in the middle of the headrest you will see the repair.
