you have to be careful what glue you use because it may not be safe for human consumption - can you not contact the seller and tell them it was broken when you received it and they should replace it they usually have insurance on items they ship

Hi Terry, someone mentioned this above but be careful (if you still plan to drink from it) which glue you use. You will also need to consider the force that will be placed on the jug when it is filled with water (as opposed to just fixing pottery/porcelain for display. Could you contact someone who has repaired porcelain and get their recommendation. Maybe someone on Etsy?

Hello I would consider using epoxy putty. This used to repair our plumbing pipes so it might be suitable for ceramic repair. Contacting the company might give you some more information

You might need to try a "Epoxy" type glue. Then re-glaze the pot.

If it arrived broken, can't you return or exchange it?

You may not be able to return it, depending on who you bought it from, because you may have been offered insurance or have been told that it was fragile.

I insist that my fragile products are shipped Insured.

eBay has guaranteed basically put it back on to the seller, who may have agreed or not agreeing to be cooperative.

That was my experience with a rare magazine I bought. The seller told me that the post office was notorious for damaging products, which I responded, if you knew then Why didn’t you ask me to get insurance? At the end of the day, I didn’t get a new rate magazine, only got my money back.
