RED BOOT REPAIR

Actually this is not a question but more of a I think I solved my problem on my Red boot !!! I had someone tell me to do a scroll design on it ...well I had another pair of red boots almost like the ones I needed help with so I decided to do the Scroll design on them first before I did the better pair of Boots ...well here is what I did I found some Scroll designs online and I saved them and then I cut them out with my vinyl cutting machine ....it was a challenge as the vinyl didn't want to stick onto the leather boot ...so I brushed some modpodge on there and it did the job ...now I just need to figure out what I can seal the vinyl with so that it doesn't come off ...here is a picture of the boots that I did ...and I want to thank everyone for all the idea's that they gave me

Those turned out really cute. They remind me of the Tony LLama boots that had wing tips 45 years ago.Helpful Reply -

Tandy Leather has some stuff for sealing leather after dying it. I would look into that as a way to keep your design in place. Nice job and good luck.Helpful Reply -

If your boots are vinyl, then a vinyl sealant could be your answer.Helpful Reply -

Thank you !!! Not sure if it would or not but hey could be worth a try on a piece of suede...Then you would know if it would benefit you to use it on whatever it is that you want to use it on...Helpful Reply -
