Can I paint ceramic tile backsplash?

My ceramic tile backsplash behind my kitchen stove is U G L Y !!!!! Can I paint it and will it be "cleanable" if I do? What kind of paint?

Take a photo to the paint department and ask for their advice.
Just replace it. You can do this, I did mine with different size tiles so I didn't have to cut. Laid it out dry before u installed it.
Need to be the same thickness however.
Rustoleum or Homax Tub and Tile paint kits.
