What is the best way to cut glass tiles?

I am going to put up a glass tile kitchen backsplash, my tiles are 3x6. What is the best way to cut them? I have never been very successful cutting glass with those "cutting wheels" that are supposed to score the glass then have the glass snap apart!!!!

A wet saw would be your best bet.
I used a wet saw when I cut our glass tile black splash. It was really simple to use! :) Fun fact a wet saw doesn't have a sharp blade. BUT still be careful!!
Buy a tile cutter online. about $60. It is a table about 15-18" wide that has a blade much like a table saw you feed the tile thru. Gives a perfect straight cut. You can use it for other things around the house so if the price sounds high, I cut plastic fluorescent light covers to use over a few windows for privacy. Cuts like butter!
The problem is that you need the right tools. Cutting glass is actually pretty easy if you have the right stuff. You might need a little oil when you use the cutting wheel. One of my stained glass supplies is a glass cutter with a handle that has oil that drips out. So if you were to take your cutting wheel you have and try to add a little oil that may help. Also, you need running pliers to get it to snap well. Trying to tap the glass and snap in half will just cause it to break in areas you don't want and won't be a clean cut at all. You need the running pliers along with the glass cutter to get the clean cut. Here is a better glass cutting kit for you with everything you would need.
