I would remove most of the drawers, paint the inside and put baskets in their spaces with snacks inside. I would leave one drawer for supplies, like napkins, plates, etc. You could get cute labels for the baskets, too.

I haven't seen this specific project but I think you could remove the drawers and replace with baskets or containers. You may have to put wood down if there isn't any beneath the drawers. Older dressers usually have it put I noticed newer ones do not.
Hello Gladya, it would be a great project to create a snack bar from a dresser. You could label each of the drawers and organize snacks to suit your family or you could opt to remove the drawers and create open shelving instead. This might entail adding plywood as Kathy mentioned in her answer to you. In any event, it could be a fun project to make a completely unique piece organized to suit you. Paint, labels, baskets, organizers all a part of the scheme! Have fun!

Here is a dresser turned into a wine bar, https://www.hometalk.com/diy/basement/furniture/dresser-wine-bar-tutorial-4071054. No reason why this wouldn't work as a snack bar! I'd fill it with bowls and air tight containers.
