We put them aside to use as paint drop cloths and picnic tablecloths. I'm sure there are many other uses people will suggest.

I have one of those sturdy wire shelving units in my kitchen and use strong ones to hand a grocery bag with bags of ships in it. I don't think anyone would every find them if I put them in a cupboard or drawer. Hubby can't even put away clean dishes, because he says he doesn't know where to put them. He sure knows where to get them if he is hungry! You can line them up on a hanger to put scarves or belts on, same for winter scarves. There are many uses for the rings.

If you want to keep & reuse, the vinyl liners make great drop clothes when painting furniture. Cloth shower curtains can be used to cover cushions or as a curtain. I hang my brush and loofah from extra rings and I've seen them used to hang up many items in the closet. They can also be added to a hanger to hang another hanger from.

Use as a moisture barrier under a tent. Use under kids playing with Play Doh or paint. Rake leaves onto it and fold up the corners to load them into bags.

Use to cover patio furniture before a rain. Use under the chair where you are trimming someone's bangs or cutting hair. Line your car trunk before going pumpkin or apple picking. Line your car trunk before loading up on bags of potting soil or manure or plants. Good luck!

What type of shower hooks do you have? The medal ones that close? Can be used in bathrooms to hang small things in shower or tub, kitchen, garage for tools & basement. If fancy c shape hooks I cut the hook off & can be glued to make knobs, pictures, design many things.

Reply to 62queenie62...I have both types of hooks. How do you cut off the decorative part? I would love to use them for knobs.

I use a hack saw (small one). I call them hobby ones. Its about the length of your hand. Home depot, ace hardware & if in Calif. Orchard hardware, harbor freight & tools sells them. Just put hook in a vice & cut as close as you can get to back & saw off & sand smooth. I have a electric tool that you can put small cutting blade on to cut it also. You can go in tool section at Walmart and they are there in different size & price. They have sanding disk to. I hope this helps. Just use strong glue to put bolt on back & put washers behind so they stand out a little .
