I do a double boiler by using an old washed out very large tin can in a sauce pan filled with water. Get the water simmering and check frequently. Don't overfill the can with wax as you want to be able to lift it out with a pot holder. An be sure the saucepan handle is away from you. Make sure no kids are around this is burning hot.Helpful Reply -

All answers are great. But what have you come up with for using the old wax. Make new candles? You could also use them for batik art or tie dying.Helpful Reply -
